Our purpose as Grace United Church of Christ of Shippensburg is to proclaim by our individual and united actions and words that we are the family of believers in God's love and saving grace as expressed and taught by His Son, Jesus Christ.
In our effort to express this we will provide a comfortable, friendly, reverent atmosphere of Worship, Christian Education, and Fellowship. We will support and promote activities which will provide opportunities for growth in the Christian Faith and will reach out to serve and draw others into our fellowship of caring believers
Located at the corner of Prince and Orange St. in Shippensburg, our congregation has a long history of serving within our community.
Grace UCC was originally established in German Reformed tradition and began it's ministry in 1735, over 250 years ago. Our present building was built in 1925.
As a congregation of the United Church of Christ, Grace is a part of the Mercersburg Association of Penn Central Conference. These affiliations enables us to be an effective part of the wider church throughout the world.
